Why not just check Google Search Console yourself?

GSC doesn't send alerts when rankings change. You'd have to log in daily and manually compare periods. RankAlert does this automatically and notifies you the moment something drops.

What access do you request from Google?

Read-only Search Console scope. We can't modify anything in your account. Refresh tokens are encrypted with AES-256 before storage and never exposed to the browser.

How does the AI assistant work?

It uses Claude by Anthropic with direct access to your live GSC data through the Search Console API. Ask it anything — it fetches real data, not cached snapshots.

Why does GSC data lag 2–3 days?

That's a Google limitation, not ours. Search Console data is typically available 2–3 days after the fact. RankAlert compares the most recent available window against the previous one.

Can I connect multiple websites?

Yes. The Starter plan supports 1 property. Pro supports 5. Each property is monitored independently with its own alert history.

What counts as a "significant" drop?

By default, drops of 5 or more positions trigger an alert. You can change this threshold in Settings. Page-1 exits and featured snippet losses always alert regardless of threshold.
